Petsecure Animal Healthcare Insurance – located in Winnipeg Claims Adjuster Reporting to the Team Leader of Claims, you will be adjudicating pet health claims in compliance with policy terms and conditions. As well, you will be providing expert guidance to cross-functional teams to facilitate attainment of profitability targets. Who We Are: Petline is Canada’s oldest and largest pet insurance company. Who We’re Looking for: You have strong communication skills You’re effective and calm when working under pressure You’re professional, friendly, and courteous — bonus points for a good sense of humour You’re successful at building effective business relationships You promote and contribute to a positive work environment by encompassing our values Your Responsibilities: Claims Adjudication/Submission: Assessing eligibility of claim conditions based on policy wordings Assessing claims and requesting medical records for review in association with claims Assessing requests for Pre-Authorizations and Pay Practice Direct claim forms and determining outcome of disallowance or approval Providing support of decisions and guidance on product and claims adjudication for Insurance Advisors and Territory Managers Customer Service: Providing support and guidance to veterinary practices through the Vetline Collaborating with channel partners and customer policy holders to obtain information for claims submissions and adjudication Providing support to customer and channel partner enquiries in regard to claims submissions and conducting post-claims customer surveys to strive toward improving Net Promoter Score Drafting customer correspondence and documents of insurance Your Skills & Experience: Post-secondary education in animal health, or, equivalent combination of education and experience Animal Health Technologist (AHT) or equivalent designation, or, equivalent combination of education and experience What You’ll Experience: An incredible team of smart, diverse, and supportive people that want to help you be better at what you do Great benefits, ongoing education, and competitive pay Unexpected perks to keep things fun
